Willy Kambwala’s most recent success put him in the Manchester United first team, which is another great job by the academy.
Manchester United and Liverpool tied 2-2 on Sunday, and as we all know, Willy Kambwala was the best player in the game.
Because of illness, the 19-year-old Frenchman was put in at center back for only his second start, and he did a great job.
He was at his best as he easily dealt with Darwin Nunez and was a big reason why United kept Liverpool at bay.
He was so good that a new contract is now looking possible. Ineos wants to keep him on the job.
A famous player from Old Trafford has now sent Kambwala a message.
Message from Patrice Evra to Willy Kambwala
A lot of people were surprised by Kambwala’s showing because he had a bad game in his only other Premier League start against West Ham.
United shared a video on Instagram that shows Kambwala playing against Nunez.
Under this post, Patrice Evra left a comment with a sweet word for the child.
He wrote, “Determination, passion, and discipline make me proud of you @willy_kams again and again.”
Thanks for the nice message. It shows how close the two Frenchmen are, especially since the teen responded with a flame emoji and two hearts.
While Evra was the only one who sent Kambwala a message, Kobbie Mainoo also did so after the show.
Kambwala’s love for Manchester United really stands out.
Kambwala’s love for the club has always been clear, but it was even more obvious when he praised each tackle like he had scored.
This just made everyone remember that he has always been a United fan.
Now, his comments from earlier with club reporters are being talked about again.
“No other team, not even England. I wasn’t thinking about England; I was only thinking about man United.” Why? I’m not sure, but as far as I can remember, it was just Manchester United.
“That was my only dream; I couldn’t even watch football; it was always Manchester United.”
