A current Chelsea striker has essentially been pleading with the club to allow him to go during the summer transfer window.
To get the books in line and stay under the profit limitations, Chelsea will be trying to sell a bunch of players again this summer, perhaps before June ends. With all the talk leading up to June, we should expect a flurry of activity.
In this regard, Romelu Lukaku, the forward presently on loan at Roma, will figure prominently. Lukaku wants to remain in Serie A because he is having fun there again.
His remarks below show that he essentially requests Chelsea to let him depart at the end of the summer, since he conducted another interview yesterday night after scoring in Europe.
Romelu Lukaku when asked about his future at Chelsea or Roma: “I don’t want any controversy with them in England! I have to be smart, you know what I mean”.
“Did I learn the lesson? Let me go, guys… I have to stay ”, told Sky Sport. pic.twitter.com/0X1rERYvGV
