The hearing into Manchester City’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) dispute has been scheduled, according to Premier League CEO Richard Masters.
After four years of research, City was finally hit with 115 charges of financial code breaches by the league last February.
The league issued a statement acknowledging that they had “referred a number of alleged breaches” to an independent commission spanning nine seasons beginning with the 2009/2010 campaign.
The city government has maintained its innocence and asserted that it possesses a “comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence” that supports their case.
When Masters appeared before the Select Committee on Culture, Media, and Sport, they inquired about the matter.
That proceeding is moving forward; however, I am unable to provide you with the exact date at this time.
“I am unable to disclose the specific date at this time regarding Manchester City,” he stated.
