Chelsea legend Didier Drogba certainly seems to be a bit of a fan of striker Victor Osimhen, and he did something this week that really did impress The Blues legend.
Osimhen of course has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer, although nothing is clear at this stage as to whether that has any chance of happening yet or not.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea reignite interest in Bundesliga defender with top leadership qualities, his club are open to selling!
Drogba would surely like to see Osimhen arrive at his former club to lead the line, and he was complimenting his goal this weekend during Napoli’s win against Monza.
Osimhen’s goal, a spectacular header reminiscent of a basketball jump shot, opened the scoring at the Brianteo Stadium and has since garnered attention in the Nigerian football community, earning the nickname “Osi-Air” for his airborne prowess, per Soccer Net Nigeria.
Drogba was in position to watch the goal and has provided the below reactions…
“I saw Victor score that goal against Monza. Oh God! He got hurt, I thought. I wouldn’t have gone for that ball, it’s crazy. An absurd goal!” he said, as quoted by The Napolista.
It certainly was a pretty crazy goal!
