Supposedly, Real Madrid will approach the acquisition of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland in the same manner as they did when they acquired Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.
The current season is Kylian Mbappe’s last with Paris Saint-Germain. Rumor has said that Real Madrid is still eyeing the forward. However, Los Blancos are rumored to be considering Haaland as an alternative forward as he does not agree with their demands.
It is believed that the relocation of Bellingham to the Spanish capital went so well that they are now ready to pursue the Norwegian in the same way.
Madrid Universal claims that the LaLiga giants are currently behaving similarly toward Haaland as they did toward Bellingham. Instead of the player directly communicating with the Spanish side, Haaland’s reps are doing it via intermediaries.
They plan to avoid confrontation with the player and Man City in particular by maintaining a delicate equilibrium.
The fourteen-time Champions League champions have the upper hand because to Haaland’s large release clause, which is €200 million until 2024 but drops to €175 million in 2025.
It is possible that Florentino Perez will opt to equal this amount. The outcome with Mbappe beforehand, though, would be a determining factor.
Madrid are reportedly considering using Bellingham’s relationship with the City forward, according to the same source. Additionally, discussions with Haaland’s group are going swimmingly.
Friendships between Bellingham and the Norwegian are strong. However, the midfielder’s meteoric ascent with Madrid may have an impact on Haaland’s decision.
